'Tree of Life' is one of the most esoteric symbols that's been around for ages. On one hand, it symbolizes how all of creation emerged from God's energy connecting every physical bit with the godhead. And at the same time, it serves as the constant reminder to the humans to rise up through the tree to tread the path of enlightenment and purification. 

This is more a Pattachitra version of the Tree of life, painted together with other motifs to add a touch of elegance & magic to the entire saree.
