Is beaded jewelry heavy?
Our beaded jewelry is designed for all day comfort. They are quite lightweight, especially the woven ones without the stones. Even with gemstones or other materials they are light and easy to wear throughout the day.
Will it cause allergy or discolor my skin?
Our beaded jewelry has stainless steel and plated brass components which are hypo-allergenic and safe for sensitive skin. If you have a know metal sensitivity,look for pieces marked with stainless steel findings in the product description.
Are the beads stuck together with glue?
Risham Jewelry is not designed or assembled together with glue. We use ancient bead-weaving and embroidery techniques to weave our beaded jewelry.
Will beaded or silver jewelry break or tarnish?
Our beaded jewelry is handwoven with bonded nylon thread specific for this art form which is very strong and durable. We use Japanese glass beads like Miyuki/Toho which are the best in the world in our jewelry. They are anti-tarnish, do not bleed color or discolor.
Our silver jewelry is made with 92.5 silver with a 22kt/18kt gold plating. Pure silver tarnishes when exposed to air. Once you wear your jewelry clean it with a clean cloth and store it in the ziplock pouch and box provided.

Risham's beaded collection is handmade by women from low-income communities whom we've trained and welcomed into our studio. Each bead strung is a step toward skill, independence, and livelihood.
Our silver jewelry is crafted by skilled artisans in Jaipur, carrying forward generations of silversmithing tradition — every piece shaped, polished, and finished by hand.
Every piece is made with care and intention — by real people with real stories.
